Description

Near the end of June, Sweeney opened up some small commissions. I had been wanting to get a piece by her for a while because of her immediately recognizable style so I jumped at the opportunity. When I told her I wanted a Kimono girl she said the request was totally adorable and that she would be happy to do one.

What Sweeney came up with is simply fantastic. Just looking at the piece you know it is one of her pieces. The way the kimono flows is gorgeous and I love the pattern as well as the colors that she chose for the piece. Just another stunning Kimono Girl to add to the collection.

You may have posted this three years ago, but I just saw it and wanted to say that the Kimono Girl is stunning. Those floral details on the kimono are outstanding. I have a Sweeney Boo as well and like in yours, the eyes are looking at something off-camera that adds a dash of mystery to the image.
