Description

This is the Original Artwork for what we believe to be one of the very early BC Sundays. We think it is May 22, 1960, but if anyone has the early strips and knows for sure, please let us know. The board layout is consistent with the few other early B.C. Sunday strip art examples we have seen, and there's a small note on the side for 5-22. The full size of the board is approximately 14 3/8" by 21", and it's done on 3 tiers which are taped together on the back. It has been lightly signed by John Hart in the first panel. A great and very rare early example from a long-running classic comic strip! This is a spectacular and museum-worthy piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be an outstanding addition to any collection.
