Description"Flipping heck! He's got worse since I've been away"The greatest war British war comic. Beginning of the endgame for the British and the Germans, with the Battle of the St Quentin Canal in September 1918, and the storming of the Hindenburg line. Endgame for Captain Snell and Charley too... This page is an essay in the comic artist's craft. Close-up each pen stroke seems rough and impressionistic, but reduced to the published page size, these marks coalesce into the incredible detail for which Colquhoun was known.
