Description

A great Medusa watercolor by Stephane Roux.

I don�t own many direct color pieces because frankly I prefer pen & ink work.

But this one was too good to pass on.

I really like the fact that she is both sexy and sensuous without being vulgar (imho) and those familiar with my gallery know I don�t mind nor shy away from strong adult work. I think Stephane struck the right balance with that one.

And the fact he used her own hair to sit and pose her, making it and integral part of the piece to give it an Art Nouveau design and vibe is excellent. Very arty and peaceful.
