Description

Print but personally addressed by Mort Walker. One of the only other pieces in my collection that's not Phantom.

Craig Battmer, to whom this was addressed to was an aspiring comic writer, but was enlisted in the Vietnam war so gave up on his career here. Craig explained he had a large network with many writers and artists at the time, and actually had two of his scripts published as follows;

''I actually did get two comic strip scripts of mine published: it was the comic strip called Wee Pals, by the Register Tribune Syndicate, and written and drawn my Morrie Turner. I wrote two strips for him, he liked them, actually drew them up, and they were published''
