ASM 173 was the first issue of Amazing Spider-Man that I ever owned. At a time when my parents had just been buying me Spidey Super Stories, my grandmother bought it for me not knowing any better:)

Loved this period for Spider-Man and love Ross Andru's work on the book!

I’m a fan of Gil Kane as well...ASM really caught an execellent run of artists through it’s first, oh, 300 issues or so.
