DescriptionStew and I go back a few years now. We met here on CAF while commenting on each others collections. Over the years we became friends and during that time he decided to put his collection on the back burner and focus on his art. It’s amazing to see his skill level grow exponentially. Stew’s paintings weren’t just getting better, they were so much more. Amazing is the first word that comes to me. One day, when we were chatting, I mentioned my sketchbook and how I really wanted him to be a part of it. He loved the idea, we just had to wait until I got one back from the artists that had them. Then there was the distance. Stew doesn’t live in the US. Time ticked by, I reminded him I would get him my book. A few opportunities came and went without success.LONG STORY SHORT, I got him my book, he added his favorite movie and got it back to me safely. Sweet MOSES Malone!! Not only did he pick a classic scene from a fan favorite but he CRUSHED it! Just did an absolutely gorgeous job on it. It’s beyond words. The layers of color, the details, everything is just beautiful. When the book arrived, Stew wrote me a note. Now remember, I had no idea what movie he picked or what scene or anything. But I’m the note he wrote, “I went with the first image that came to my mind when you asked me to make something about a year ago (or even more, have to check!) It was more! I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood, something that could never, ever possibly destroy us...” Hahahaha! Thank you again, Stew! You have raised the bar on this book to another level. This will not be the last thing I own from you. Something with Wine on it has been sticking with me. This is awesome! I love movie themed pieces too and this is one of my favorite films of all time. Fantastic piece, buddy!

You're right. Great job on a classic scene, and very good work on the likeness of all the actors.

One of my fav movies too! As a kid, I wanted a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man toy so bad. Excellent work by Stew!
