Description

#1-8 of Amazing Adventures (starting in 1970) featured the Inhumans in their first solo series, splitting the issues with Black Widow. Art was by Jack Kirby and Neal Adams, so it must have been pretty jarring for readers when Mike Sekowsky took over the book for issues #9 and 10.

I appreciate Sekowsky's very different version of the characters, but it's an acquired taste. Thankfully, this issue featured some beautiful inking by the great Bill Everett. I think the combination of the two artists really works well on this page -- which features a dramatic battle montage with some nice details. This also has some great over the top dialogue by Gerry Conway.

I've acquired a taste for Sekowsky at Marvel, thankfully. This is a great action page with great renderings of the Inhumans, especially Medusa's hair. Thanks for sharing this Ted!

It's a weird combination but fun. I really like seeing the Inhumans placed in a classic JLA-style splash/fight montage.
