Description

I seem to remember this bottom panel as being used in early Conan ads in Marvel comics. It really seems to capture the essence of what BWS was trying to convey when he got assigned the signature character of his career. It really says 70s Marvel magic to me. BWS's pencils and inks on a 9 x 14" sheet. it was used in an early Kull story, later published in Epic Magazine...but it's Conan to me, and to you too, I bet!! Barry penciled and inked the pages.

Conan as Kull, but still Conan! It’s Barbarian time! Great swashbuckling that fully demonstrates why Barry Windsor-Smith was THE artist for the job!
