Description

Absolutely KILLER two-thirds splash original artwork for Hawkman Vol. 4 #17 (DC, 2003), by the super talented Rags Morales (pencils) and Michael Bair (inks). For the tale, "The Thanagarian, Part III: Conclusion," Hawkman (Kator Hol) battles his arch-nemesis, the shape-shifting Byth Rok by knocking him to kingdom come on this smashing splash page and stating emphatically, "You want a trip back to Thanagar, Byth? Let me give you a head start!" KOOM!

All-in-all, this is a terrific action-packed splash page that features the main hero Hawkman coming to save the day by duking it out with the main villain, as the beautiful Shayera Thal (Hawkwoman) looks on. Rags Morales ranks as one of the most talented artists to work in the industry during the modern age.
