Description

Captain America, Vol. 1, Issue #171, Page 1 Title Page Splash by Sal Buscema and Vince Colletta. Published in March 1974. The "Bust-Out!" story had Cap in jail and accused of murder! He's been set up by the malicious committee to regain America's principles and its super-figurehead, Moonstone-and Cap's unable to prove his innocence. This issue had appearances by The Falcon, Black Panther, and Iron Man!

I've never seen this page up for sale before, so when I got the chance to own it I jumped at the chance to buy it! July 11, 2018 purchase. See the interesting notes left on the artwork for the colorist regarding color costumes.

Signed by Sal Buscema (penciler), Steve Englehart (story idea), Roy Thomas (Editor-in-Chief) and Stan "The Man" Lee!
