DescriptionIf you ever went back and read some of the earliest Atom stories, you'd know that it was CRAZY how lovesick Ray was and how single-minded he was about marrying Jean Loring. I'm not sure whether that is still part of the canon but at the time of this story/art, it was. And if you never read THIS set of books, you may not know that Ray's wife Jean cheated on him and they divorced. It was pretty tragic considering how crazy Ray was for her but a really good story twist to bring more reality into superhero comics.ANYWAY...in this new life he's found a rebound love named Laethwyn. Once again, Atom (Ray) is able to be a champion for his love. Another great page of the time by Broderick/Janke. Social/Sharing |
