Description

Yeah, Plastic Man was always much more funny and outlandish. That made him fun. But Ralph Dibney was one of the first costumed heroes to reveal his identity. He and his wife Sue were great together. He solved more mysteries than fought crime. And his freakin' NOSE twitched! I really enjoyed his stories. It is a shame under Dan Didio's DC leadership, he was wiped out. I believe he is once again a part of the DC universe but I haven't seen him yet. I hope he makes a come-back.

I'm really thrilled to have a page that was penciled and inked by Sid Greene. I mostly knew Greene's work from his inking work, which is great. But seeing his pencils makes me appreciate his skills all the more. Just look at that 2nd panel; one guy is losing his shoe, a wig is flying off, the guy's hat is being pressed between the stalagmite and his head making it stand out, and the fine work on the guns are just great.

I do need to admit that for years I thought his name was the EN-Longated Man. Yeah, I know that isn't a real word NOW. But as a kid, you don't know and some things just stick. Once I found out the real word, I thought he had a wrong on purpose as a super-hero name. Like I said, it took me years to figure it out. Sheesh!
