DescriptionSOLD AT AUCTION FOR $317!11-1/8x17-1/8" artboard w/vellum overlay attached at top features pen and ink original art by Jim Fern that has been inked by Mark McKenna. Art is for the cover to "The Law Of Dredd" #7, part of a reprint series published by Fleetway/Quality from April 1989 to Dec. 1991 for a total of 33 issues. It presented colorized Judge Dredd stories from "2000 AD" for the American market (though it was also available in Great Britain). Art depicts Judge Dredd tied to rock pillar as an enormous dinosaur-like creature approaches. Both Fern and McKenna have signed at bottom center, McKenna adding "'89" date. Top margin has handwritten "Law #7" title/issue number. Exc. Social/Sharing |
