DescriptionThis is a very cool piece that I picked up recently. It's a Steve Ditko inspired pinup of The Creeper by renowned Duck artist Don Rosa. The previous owner bought it from the artist at a Toronto convention in 1977. The art is about 11.5" x 15" on heavy board and features some nice usage of Zip-a-tone.I'm not sure if this was intended for publication or not. It looks very much like the sort of work that the artist might have drawn for Rocket's Blast Comicollector or other fanzine. Please let me know if you've ever seen this image before. Social/Sharing |
