Description

Cory Loftis is a visual development artist with credits on Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Zootopia, and Ralph Breaks the Internet. He was the production designer of the latter film. Cory was set up at the CTNX Animation Expo with sketchbooks, prints, and stickers for sale. On Friday, my friend John tipped my brother Stuart and me that Cory had originals behind the table so we went over to take a look. Only one piece remained, but Cory said he'd bring more Saturday. Stuart and John had other plans then, but left me requests to buy more. I had five in all and this is one of the three I kept. This piece was created as a black-and-white piece in October 2017 according to this October 12, 2017 Instagram post. Cory created a run of drawings featuring this pig and cat.

I am not sure if this piece has a story behind it or not but it certainly needs one. Amazing pickup.
