'You move fast honey, but I ain't finished with you yet!'

Rookie Judge Dekker is put through her paces to foil a gambling syndicate intent on throwing the result of Super Bowl CXXXIV. WHUMMPP!

Kim Raymond seems to be a real marmite artist for 2000AD fans, but I loved his work; detailed, yet sketchy, an arty version of Ron Smith. One of the reasons that pre-prog 500 2000AD is a golden age for me is the seeming priority that editorial gave the art of especially the centre-comic double page spread; often this was single image, and always dramatic and eye-catching. These centre DPS were something that Raymond excelled at, here proving a generous amount of white so Tom Frame's colours have a chance to shine.

It was really as if Tharg understood that a comic was art as much as it was story. A move to full-colour and an American-style pagination have removed this most enervating and unique aspect of thrill-power.

The art is on very thin (cheap?) art board, irregularly cut at the top. The left side is an inch higher than the right.

TB Grover was the pseudonym for the John Wagner/Alan Grant writing partnership.
