Wow! I mean just... Wow! :)

To get this as a Christmas gift was beyond any concept of generosity I can parse.

It's a page by THE John Byrne, and yes, even after all this time, the thought that I now own this makes me geek out just a little.

This is from Generations, the first of his three Elseworlds series which followed the paths of the Batman and Superman dynasties from the 1940's Golden Age onwards, as if they aged in real time.

So here we have Bruce Wayne Jr, son of Bruce Wayne and a (somewhat notoriously) never-named mother, who first showed up in a 1950's "Imaginary Story" where he was Robin II and Dick Grayson was II (You could tell because they each had, helpfully, a large roman numeral "II" on their costumes. That... did not transfer into this series. :)

Have I mentioned lately, how lucky I am with the friends I have? Because I think it needs to be said again! :D

That is a GREAT gift! :) Artistically, Mr. Byrne is absolutely firing on all cylinders there; neat faces, figures, perspectives, backgrounds, and action! Congratulations, on both a wonderful page and the awesome friend(s) to make it happen for you! :)
