DescriptionLarge full color drawing of a rifle-wielding, jug holding Indian Civil War Union Soldier. Appears unpublished. Marker and watercolor or perhaps color dyes on sketchpad paper. Garcia, a longtime comics artist, passed away in 2007 at the young age of 53. Among the genres he tackled was westerns in the short-lived series, OWLHOOTS, from Kitchen Sink Press.
Original measures 11” x 17” with an image area of 9 x13” and is in Very Good condition except for pinholes in the top corners. There is some bleed from the markers used on back. This does not affect the front in any way. Social/Sharing |
