Description

I absolutely love McManus� art deco interiors, his surrealistic living wall paintings and Jiggs� lowbrow sensibility. Not to mention his ligne claire style, an obvious inspiration for Herg�.
(To any doubters regarding that last point: The Bringing Up Father strip started out in 1913, and McManus perfected his artwork style during the 1920s - long before Herg� had perfected his style.)

Yes - I see the parallel to drawing style of Herge. Great details on this :-) Congrats on this lovely Sunday page, Oystein.
