DescriptionAside from this page continuing the return journey of WonderMan, who quickly became one of my favorite characters in the Avengers when I was growing up, the final panel's editor's note references a panel on page 10 of this issue, which I also managed to pick up a short time back. For me, that makes this page doubly nifty!! And I have such a vivid memory of how the Annual opens, with her arrival at the mansion, this page has many happy memory triggers...

It's hard to decide which of your recent Wonder Man postings is the greatest, but I have to go with this. You get the classic Wondy costume, the great Living Laser costume complete with Serpent Crown, and the solution to the wacky hallucination laser mystery from earlier in the issue. I wonder whether the Living Laser broke out that trick again. Big congrats on landing a lovely Buscema/Sinnott page!

Many thanks Lee - and I couldn’t choose just one favorite so I just had to get them all...

This page has everything, including an editorial mistake on Scarlet Witch flying. Agreed this features the work of two true masters.

See, I was such a fanboy that it didn’t dawn on me why she SHOULDN’T be able to fly (magic, after all)
