I loved Giffen's run on the Defenders. Janson brought so much to Giffen's layouts/pencils. Such a great art team. I also love it when a good colorist colors on original art. Yep- that is what I said. Lucky me that most collectors loath it. Hence I was able to get this amazing page from a memorable book from my youth for less that I thought I'd have to pay (well actually, I would have had to loose the piece as I thought it was going to go over my bid-bit tight right now). When I saw this Scorpio page pop up on HA I was excited and now I am moire excited as it will be on my wall. 8 ) Like I said- lucky me! Here is what HA says:

Keith Giffen and Klaus Janson Defenders #46 Story Page 9 Hulk, Hellcat, and Nighthawk Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Nighthawk (aka Kyle Richmond) leads what is left of the Defenders into their new HQ , only to mean Scorpio! Keith Giffen supplied the breakdown for Klaus Janson's finished pencils and inks. The page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". It has been hand-colored with color markers after-the-fact by parties unknown. In Very Good condition.
