Description

Jeff Messer and I holding our book, Mike Grell: Life Is Drawing Without An Eraser, at the 2019 Eisner Award Ceremony. We were joined at the TwoMorrows table by our wives, my daughter, Keith Dallas and his wife and daughter, and publishers John and Pam Morrow. Although we did not win, the event was a blast. The dinner was great and we saw some legends in comics including former DC Comics President and Publisher Jenette Kahn, Paul Levitz, Sergio Aragones, Bill Sienkiewicz and many more, as well as some fun presenters like Ernie Hudson of Ghostbusters fame. And BACK ISSUE won a well-deserved award for Best Comics Related Periodical.

FYI - My Marvel tie was a gift from Flo Steinberg.
