Description

The great Jaime Hernandez draws Penny Century “On the Road Ag’in Part 2” from Mechanics #1 page 5 from October 1985. This story created for the MECHANICS comic was incorporated into The Complete Love & Rockets (Fantagraphics, 1985 series) #4 - Tears from Heaven (January 1988). note the superheroine in panel 4. In the story, H. R. Costigan has hired Bomber Bones to find Penny Century. When he comes across her by accident, she doesn't let him know who she is. Big 'Turo finally drags her back to Costigan's place. Later on, she flees again.

An August 2019 purchase from Sean Conlon.
