Description

An oversize original from a story I did with my buddy Mark Heike back in 1984 (printed in 1985) from NIGHTVEIL #3 (AC Comics). One of the first 'real' comic books I ever worked on! In my mind I was never going to sell the two pages I kept from that issue. Well, I'm 65 now and a grandpa and time can finally change your mind (as Doug Wildey pointed out to me at a show years ago). He wanted to see what I kept saying "That's not for sale" about in my portfolio.

When I did these Americomics issues I was still largely a brush inker. Once I saw the pages in print I realized that the real fine detail was not going to show up, but I was (and still am) SOOOOOOO proud of these pages. I'll never forget when these pencils arrived! It would have been nice if they had been printed on slick/better paper instead of newsprint.

Each page of original art is the ACTUAL one-of-a-kind piece! The artwork itself is in excellent shape. I signed it in gold marker. It measures 14" x 20" (OVERSIZE!). I will include a signed copy of the comic with the artwork!
