Description

Dave Stevens' Rocketeer was one of the rare 1980s independents that made the leap to the big-screen with a feature film from Disney Studios. The franchise was brought back to comics with an adaptation of the movie and Russ Heath’s cinematic style was an excellent choice to take on the high-flying hero. This explosive aerial action page features the Rocketeer in full costume trying to stop a runaway bi-plane. Heath's fine, realistic style was a good match for the franchise that mixed classic styling with often wry humour.

The artwork has an image area of approximately 10" x 15” inches and is in excellent condition with Russ Heath’s signature in the lower left margin.
