Description

After a brief hiatus, it was Peter David’s run on Aquaman in the 90s that got me back into comics and collectibles. Jim Calafiore is the premier Aquaman artist of that period. I had met Jim a few years before when he came to Dallas, and I always knew I wanted an epic Aquaman piece from him. He’s a very nice guy. I pulled the trigger when he returned to Dallas in the summer of 2019. We discussed what the piece should be, and the final piece exceeded my expectations. This is the quintessential Aquaman!
