Description

A Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Alex Toth's artwork for OUR ARMY AT WAR #241, "Dirty Job," page 2. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board. Bruce said of this one, "Toth's a little tough because the lines, forms aren't always readily apparent while inking. It takes concentration in a slightly different way. Also, his overall style has a slightly chiseled, blunt style that isn't exactly my natural style. I love his work, 'tho - sometimes it's fun (and educational) to approach something a little outside your wheelhouse."
