Description

A page that was love at first sight for me. Not always a fan of modern art, I have, on the other hand, always enjoyed the retro feel of Mike Allred's style. And wanting a DD page for my collection, this page is just incredible. One of the dings on modern art, in my opinion, is that without text it feels unfinished... but the visual storytelling in this page is so strong you don't even notice the lack of words. Can't wait to get it framed!

Wow wow wow! I love this page. I agree with everything you wrote, and go further in saying that Allred does something here that few DD artists since Colan did with the character - he illustrates that joy and grace of Daredevil doing his thing in a virtually animated fashion, with each pose flowing into the next. And the Stiltman is one of the quintessential villians.
