Description

The writing of the first Batwoman book never clicked for me, but the introduction of Rafael Albuquerque as cover artist was a stroke of genius. This cover showcases everything I love about Albuquerque's work -- it's bold, kinetic, and violent. The sharp black/white contrast with splotches of white ink is so striking, even more so with the addition of red in the published image.
