DescriptionWhat, Spider-MaN?!?! Yes please!Update 12/5/2023 Poetry in motion. The fluid grace is elegantly on display everywhere. I love the top panel doubly, because it gives us an idea as to what the interiors of TMDoLS might look like. Social/Sharing |

I really love this sequence, glad you put it together. This is the evolvement of Filpe's art. The vibrancy of the city in panel one, the perspective in panel four 4 and everything about how Spidey moves throughout... he'd kill it on a Spider-Man story someday.

Phenomenal page to kick of your 3-page sequence, ML... and that first panel! Such incredible stylistic beauty! The killer for me is the lighting from the "chasm" of the street below, and how it is achieved; he just uses fewer lines. :) Such an assured hand! Such skill! It really makes me think of Kaluta; you'd never mistake one for the other, but it just drips mastery... Panel 2's open, spacious display of Spidey's balletic web-swinging allows us all inside Spidey's head, where all the city's clutter and noise drops away and the only thing is smooth movement ("smoovement"?). I LOVE the Spider sense in panel 3, stabbing out a warning via David Mack triangles, rather than the usual saint's halo of undulating streamers, and Spidey's hand and knee breaking out of that fourth panel underscore how the quiet space of his reverie was just shattered (as a hurtling water tower is prone to do...). INSANE page, ML! What a sequence! Congrats!
