DescriptionI don't think I've said this about any other piece in my collection - this feels like a grail.A page from Sandman 50 was always on the list, and I thought I'd have to wait much, much longer to find one, let alone afford it. It was enlightening to discover how quickly I was able to let go of some other pieces to make sure I could afford this one and close the deal. With great thanks to L and T for arranging this. Very nice, sadly he drew only this issue, he and Kelley jones were the best artists on Sandie by far and Russels work is always a joy to behold no matter on which series in the 1990s !

The famous JL! Little did you know that 10 years later you'd be making a little boy's dream come true. Many thanks! And also, good LORD what an awesome collection you have!

It was a momentary lapse of reason and judgment wherein letting this page go seemed to be the only path to getting a page I really wanted. The decision, easy when I made it, began to gnaw at me almost as soon as the initial high of getting the other page (which I love) faded. However, once, I think it was during one of his interviews with Bill, I heard ML say that it was his favorite page in his collection, which, as much as I loved it, I would never have said, and that thought gave me a modicum of solace.

You're very kind! It brings me much joy. I was able to meet the Neil earlier this year and it was one of the pages I took with me for signing. He really enjoyed seeing it too.

This was the first Sandman comic I ever read. PCR's art blew me away and the story was like nothing I read before. Nice to be reminded of it all with this page.
