DescriptionOkay, so it wasn't reaaaally Thor that Thunderstrike battled in this issue. It was actually a criminal on a major bank robbing spree disguised as Thor, who used an electrical device to mimic Mjolnir.But hey, the title stats and image make it look like Thunderstrike is battling the real deal, and just look how shocked that one lady onlooker is. You just can't fake that level of emotion. So, in this fun story, Thunderstrike has to go to extreme measures to prove that this guy is not the real Thor, and to protect his friend's reputation. But alas, there's no one looking out for his. Social/Sharing |

Really awesome Thunderstrike cover! Frenz and Milgrom styles matched perfectly on this title and this cover is a great example of that magic! Congrats man!

Didn't that same plot happen on a episode of Three's Company? That Jack was always getting into trouble.

Very nice! Frenz did some nice work on this title as evidenced by this sweet cover! I'm thinking it's an homage to Thor 126, Thor vs. Hercules? In any case, another great cover add for you, Paul - congrats!

Wow, you know your covers, K! Thor 126 definitely has a very similar image, and was probably an inspiration for Ron Frenz. As always, thank you for leaving such a great comment, and I'd like to thank everyone else too. So glad to have this art community :)

Fantastic cover! I am a huge fan of Frenz's work on Thor and Thunderstrike, and you got them both (sort of) in one cover!

I loved Frenz's work throughout his career, from Ka-Zar to ASM at the start, but especially during his this Thor/Thunderstrike period during the late 80's to mid 90's, whith Kirby inspired dynamics. Great stuff!
