Amen to that, Benedict! Frank ranks amongst the great storytellers and brush-wielders of the graphic medium. His style could smoothly adapt and flow from one genre to the next, and Red Sonja has to be his most iconic character. Having a page from this legendary run sure does feel good in my collection!

These Thorne pages are so clean and gorgeous in hand - scans don't do them justice - I have to say I think Frank was having some ribald fun in that first panel!!
