DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of a Flash Gordon illustration by Frank Frazetta. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board. In Frazetta's original Flash also had a large "F" on his briefs which I asked Bruce to not include. Bruce said " I used a NOS Winsor & Newton brush on a lot of it, which was a lot of fun." In regards to Frazetta's work, Bruce also said, "I love his paint work, but I do think I'm an even bigger fan of the pen & ink stuff."Social/Sharing |
