Bagley Week, Day Four!

Mark Bagley went over to DC for a while (2008-2011) and worked on about 16 issues of JLA and all 52 issues of Trinity.

I love this double page spread, as it features a nice big battle splash (plus additional panels) of the JLA vs Owlman, Ultraman, Superwoman and Power Ring I of the Crime Syndicate of America. I especially like that the splashy panel features all female characters except for Batman.
Female power!! ... and Batman.

Superb DPS by a stellar artist! Love how Bagley manages to include so many characters and yet manages to keep the action sequences crystal clear. Fantastic pick-up!.

Okay, this also isn't so bad! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Batman is drawn with too small a physique, but aside from that, pretty nice. Having grown up a bigger fan of Marvel than of DC, but all these years later burned out by Marvel due their turning into the House of Bad Ideas over the past twenty years or so, I'm loving delving into reading a lot more DC books lately and am happy to see even a true blue Marvelite like you does own SOME DC art!

If there's one thing Bags can due it's that high energy action! Great example here in terms of the layout and pacing as well as what's going on in-panel. I didn't really follow his DC stuff but this is definitely a nice spread. Congrats!
