DescriptionI bought this large pinup directly from Geof, while attending the 1997 SDCC. Other OA collectors had avoided this piece, due to the fact that Darrow had taped an additional piece of bristol along the top of his original board, in order to complete the image? I've photoshopped the edge out, of my posted version.. I was unfamiliar with this character. When I asked Geof about it.. He could only proffer that he felt it was likely an Image Comics character? With a bit of research and the kind help of fellow CAF Member: Eric Callen,-- I eventually concluded that this was "Battalion" (Jackson King) a Field Leader of StormWatch. Seen here, wearing his Cyber-Tran suit!Social/Sharing |

Trying to think who Darrow reminded me of, Moebius
Yes, Geof met Moebius in 1982. And in 1985, they published a 10-plate Portfolio together, entitled: "City Of Fire"..
