Description

Magnus created a new genre in the Italian comics scene in the 1960s: "the black comic".
His thick and sharp shadings gave his works a dark and mysterious charm. In this context, he created, together with screenwriter Max Bunker, Alan Ford. Series dedicated to a squinted group of secret agents (the TNT Group), characterized by grotesque tones that often veer towards a cheeky and direct satire. The comic was a great success in Italy, but even more so in Yugoslavia. Probably the reason is to be linked to the identification of young Yugoslavs in the character to which the series is entitled: Alan Ford; identification both physical and social (Alan is tall, blond and handsome and despite living a life without a penny and with few pretensions is always able to defeat the very rich and powerful opponents). In the Group there are other memorable characters such as: number One (old founding leader), Bob Rock (bass, nosed and hilarious), Count Oliver (fallen noble and kleptomaniac) ..................................................

Magnus creo� negli anni Sessanta un nuovo genere nel panorama fumettistico italiano: �il fumetto nero�.
Le sue ombreggiature i segno spesso e netto diedero ai suoi lavori un fascino oscuro e misterioso. In questo ambito creo�, insieme allo sceneggiatore Max Bunker, Alan Ford. Serie dedicata ad uno squinternato gruppo di agenti segreti (il Gruppo TNT) , caratterizzata da toni grotteschi che spesso virano verso una satira sfacciata e diretta. Il fumetto ebbe un grande successo in Italia, ma ancor piu� in Jugoslavia. Probabilmente la ragione e� da collegarsi alla identificazione dei giovani Jugoslavi nel personaggio a cui e� intitolata la serie: Alan Ford; identificazione sia fisica che sociale (Alan e� alto, biondo e belloccio e pur vivendo una vita senza un soldo e con poche pretese e� sempre comunque in grado di sconfiggere i ricchissimi e potentissimi avversari). Nel Gruppo sono presenti altri memorabili personaggi quali: il numero Uno (vecchissimo leader fondatore), Bob Rock (basso, nasuto e spassoso), il Conte Oliver (nobile decaduto e cleptomane) ��..

Bella pagina! Alla tua ricca descrizione aggiungerei solo (dettaglio non irrilevante) che Bob Rock e il Conte Oliver sono rispettivamente le caricature di Magnus e Bunker. Mentre per le fattezze di Alan Ford, unico "bello" del Gruppo, Magnus si era originariamente ispirato all'attore Peter O'Toole :)
