DescriptionLL COOL J. ORIGINAL ART FROM PAGE 72, VOLUME 3 OF THE HIP HOP FAMILY TREEPencil, ink, and marker on stiff paper (17 by 11 inches), signed "Ed Piskor 2020" at bottom. Here is Ed Piskor on this piece: "I think this may be the only page from HHFT that Fantagraphics Publisher Gary Groth commented on as I delivered the art for print. He was aghast at young LL COOL J’s boxing stance and bad contrapposto (both arm and leg from the same side of the body are forward at the same time). I wanted him to look young, twerpy, and inexperienced here, though." Social/Sharing |
