1976, Fade-Out Cover, Ken Kelly oil, One of my favorite Ken Kelly paintings from his peak period of the 1970s!
It is a very large painting, measuring 28" by 40" and it was published as the cover to science fiction novel, FADE-OUT, by Patrick Tilley.
The image of a giant mechanical spider in front of Congress and flying saucers in the background portray an interplanetary invasion of Earth!
