Description

A Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Joe Kubert's cover art to THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #44. Pen, brush, ink and mixed media on 13 X 20" bristol board. Bruce said, "It looked to me like Joe used grease pencil here and there, and that colorist added some fx too. I tried to capture some of that feel. I used the Derwent "Inktense" a lot, which feels a lot like a china marker. I also used a watercolor pencil and compressed graphite pencil."
