Description

A page intended to evoke 1990's comics from 'You Don't Know Jack', a spin-off of Dave Sim's 'The Strange Death of Alex Raymond' focusing on Jack VanDyke, who features in the larger work.

The 'YDKJ' comic was produced by Sim, VanDyke and artist Carson Grubaugh, who was brought onto the 'SDoAR' project after Dave's injury that left him unable to draw at the pace or scale needed.

The art was copied from an actual issue of 90's comic 'Avengelyne' (as that's part of the aesthetic of both 'SDoAR' and 'YDKJ') but I am unable to identify the specific issue. Any help with that would be appreciated.

I've included the page as printed, which replaces the 90's faces with Jack's (much of the comic is cut-and-paste over and over of the same several images, in line with Sim's recent 'Cerebus in Hell' series.
