Description

This is a great painting from Ciruelo Cabral, 14"x20" acrylic on cardboard that he painted in Feb 1989. I picked it up from his IX Gallery show after deciding I liked it better than anything similarly priced in IX Online this year. Great piece, has been used in Ciruelo's book of the dragon, as a Cover for Deep Magic Magazine in November 2002, in Ciruelo's 2018 Calendar (Titled "Cadmus and the Dragon of Ares), as a cover for a Robert Jordan Wheel of Time book in Finland, and as a album cover for a Spanish rock band. Later uses replaced the clouds with a digitally introduced castle in the background.
