Description

A look into the cover art process: Luis submitted this study for approval to Warren for Eerie 44's cover art. As you can see, it was "approved", however the final has 2 different creatures in the upper-right corner, but I like these nasty guys better - much more hideous and hulking.

This is at least as nice as the original painting. I never say that about a prelim!

Thanks Marc! Luis was a master with B&W art, as you know. His horror covers for D.C. are some of the best b/w comic art out there.
