Description

The famous Hostess advertisements ran throughout both DC and Marvel comics for 5 years from 1977 to 1981. I LOVE these ads and feel fortunate to have this Superman example in my collection. By the dynamic duo of Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson it’s Superman in “An Unbeatable Power”. Also Twinkies are delicious! My mouth waters every time I look at this page and imagine coming home from school to eat Twinkies and watch cartoons, while flipping through a comic (purchased, of course, from the spinner rack at the 7/11).

Congrats on getting this piece of nostalgia. I remember these ads so vividly, and being in the UK i could only dream of just how nice these Twinkies must be.

Those of us that read comics in the late 70s and early 80s have a real affinity for these classic ads. Yours is a great example!
