I purchased the #2 of 150 San Diego 1946 Limited Edition print by Aaron Lopresti in 2018. Aaron draws a great pretty girl. The period swimsuit and the Hotel del Coronado background was appealing. This prelim is one of five offered as one lot on Aaron Con 5 Day 2 YouTube video at the five minute point. The character Supergirl is suggested by the blonde hair and the red, blue, and yellow of the swimsuit. I recall hearing Aaron saying the pose is from a Lana Turner photo although my memory may be wrong. I'm really happy to have it.

In this year without conventions, Aaron is operating online since C2E2 in March. Usually timed to planned con appearances, I've enjoyed watching his Aaron Lopresti Art Facebook livestream videos or his YouTube channel videos. The videos begin with items for sale and move on to Aaron drawing sketches and commissions while chatting. One of the best deals now is the sketch option with his new hardcover sketchbook RAW IMAGINATION: 20 years of sketches. Fifty dollars for the book, the sketch, and US postage paid. During his Aaron Con events, Aaron offers free shipping. This is also a good time for commissions. Highly recommended.
