Description37 x 48.6 cmBeen on the lookout for a great Moebius page since I began collecting. Though examples have popped up, I'm glad to have waited for this super 1/2 splash. One of the most traditionally sci-fi portions of the story with the added plus of having most of the major characters. This scene is great in that the intensity and emotion felt by Animah and the team come through. You'd expect some great heroic/adventure soundtrack playing as the reinforcements come to help just as Difool is about to be totally consumed by the Darkness. The fantastic space battle imagery is icing on the cake. The image of Difool is an original art paste-up and though I probably won't check what's underneath, I assume Moebius may have needed an extra crack at it. Moebius is probably the most influential modern comic artist and I find myself a fan of many of his great disciples including Darrow, Quitely, Pitarra, Burnham and so many more. Ecstatic and so proud to finally have this piece from the master. Really one of those pieces that have me in awe that it's in my possession. What a year! Social/Sharing |

Great page. There maybe many imitators but there will never be another Moebius or the vision he gave us.

Probably the coolest piece added to CAF in months. This is a major score and really has everything you'd want in a Moebius page.

There is no denying that is one of the best pieces posted on CAF in quite some time. I am so happy for you to pick up such a monumental page by the great Moebius. Talk about a piece that can elevate a collection to a higher place! Huge congrats!

Wow, can't get a much better example of Moebius than this page. Beautiul, and I love seeing all the paste ups and corrections. On the printed page it looks so effortless but clearly he put in the work on this one. Congrats

Huge congrats! Great addition to the collection. Moebius is a legend who influenced many of my favorite current day artists(if not all) .

Amazing Mobius page! Just discovered "The Incal" and its one of the best comic sci fi stories I've read. Hidden gem!

Great writeup, agree with it all. This is pure, manic Moebius science fiction action. So busy, so chaotic, and yet so perfectly readable and pleasingto the eye. And the way the sound effect works as part of the art: BBROOMMMMMMMM indeed!
