DescriptionIf anyone has any pages from the story "Annie Mae" for sale please let me know!I have found I really appreciate obscure Gene Colan works. This story is an interesting one, it opens in photos of a couple with comic dialogue balloons talking about how they have run into hard times and need to spend the last of their money on a hotel room. Inside that room the woman asks the man to tell her a story. So the man begins to tell a tale titled "Annie Mae". The story itself is a "love" story that spans many many lifetimes of a single person who lived incarnations from a caveman to a being when humankind evolves beyond it's current form all the way to the end of the universe itself. This man during many of his lifetimes sees fleeting visions of a woman he feels pulled to but can never seem to reach her. At the very end it shows why/how she appeared, who she is and what happened to the man of many lifetimes. It's an interesting little "sci-fi" story and the format was fun/experimental.
