An unexpected, wonderful (and wonderfully unexpected) trade to start out 2021. Ladies and gentlemen: Monica Rambeau!

Each issue of �Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.� was a three-minute �pulp song� in images and ink; nothing out of place, no extraneous elements weighing down the story or art; nothing distracting from the gut punch immediacy of the craziness and purity of the sheer, unadulterated velocity of the project. If you were somehow able to freebase superhero comics of the early 2000�s, I�d wager the sensation would be not unlike reading �Nextwave�.

Along with the writing, the art was elegant, bright, and cut to the bone; ultra rich, but intentionally free from an over-abundance of detail that would slow any momentum. If there was a way to flatteringly tie a metaphor to the deliberate crafting / �intelligent design� of empty carbs and/or lite beer, I�d insert it here. That was Nextwave in a nutshell (er, bottle). The always spectacular team of Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger seemed unconstrained by gravity itself on this project.

Over-excited? Yeah, maybe. Undeservedly? Uh, no. Nextwave: it�s what they want.

Mark Millar Licks Goat ! .. Man what a pickup! Congratulations. NextWave is one of my all time fav comic. It's really hard to get a cool page from this series and you got a great one. Immonen at his peak, Ellis at his acerbic best.. What else do you really need man.. Perfection
