DescriptionMy interest in the Hulk waned a lot after Peter David left the series years ago, but I have picked up new issues here and there. While very different from previous iterations, I become a fan of the Immortal Hulk series as it was well written and drawn and it took more of a horror approach to the Hulk and supporting cast. Most of the art for this series was bluelines with separate pencils/inks, so I was delighted to get a few pages from this issue with old school art featuring a revised origin of the Leader. Tom Palmer's inking style was very different than Guice's, but I really liked the combination, even if Palmer did ignore a lot of the pencils and did his own thing here.
